BEYOND THE HORIZON II
The horizon is the boundary between the visible world and the sky. Beyond this line the world continues invisible to the eye. In my mind there is my own construction, my interpretation of the “real” world. I only recognize what I am able to see. I am able to see what I know. My thoughts and imaginations, my intellectual background create the world. I became familiar with this world, but I wonder wether there could be more behind the wall of imaginations, beliefs and prejudices.
Der Horizont ist die Grenze zwischen der sichtbaren Welt und dem Himmel. Jenseits dieser Linie setzt sich die Welt fort, der Wahrnehmung entzogen. In meinen Gedanken gibt es meine eigene Konstruktion, meine Interpretation der “wirklichen” Welt. Ich erkenne nur, was ich sehen kann. Ich kann sehen, was ich weiß. Meine Gefühle und Vorstellungen, mein intellektueller Hintergrund erschaffen die Welt.
Ich habe mich mit dieser Welt vertraut gemacht, aber ich frage mich, ob da noch mehr sein könnte hinter der Wand der Einbildungen, Überzeugungen und Vorurteile.
